Parent of 3 children of MCS:
What impressed us most about the Montessori Children's School is the individualized education that our children received. The teachers are amazing and were able to nurture the interests and development of each of our children who had very different needs and personalities. The Montessori kindergarten experience is particularly special in that these young students are viewed as leaders in the school. They are highlighted as role models and they even help the younger children throughout the day. What an amazing leadership experience for young children!
Parent of 3 children in MCS:
We've found the kindness and support of the teachers at the Montessori Children's School to be unparalleled. The Montessori curriculum has helped our children be more independent and self-sufficient, but also develop social skills based on empathy and kindness. For our 3rd grader, we are seeing that the social/emotional/academic foundation that he got in his 3 years at the Montessori Children's School has helped him be more confident in his classroom - in terms of exploring new academic concepts, performing research on his own, and participating in class.Â
Alumni Child:
I enjoyed hiking on the trails and sometimes we went out searching for things from nature and it was really fun. I learned a lot. It inspired me and now I'm really interested in nature and animals.
Alumni Child:
I enjoyed experimenting with all of the works! I also loved the popcorn we got on Thursdays.
Alumni Child:
My favorite was the Thursday Nature Walks with my friends. And May Day!
Alumni Child:
I loved all of the jobs that we had at Montessori - oh, and the ice cream days!
